UCI South Australia recently worked with the Adelaide Women’s Prison which is an Australian prison facility located in Northfield, South Australia, accommodating both sentenced prisoners and those on remand. The Department of Correctional Services relocated their Administration Transportable Unit from Glenside to a new location on site at Northfield due to an increased need for extra administration facilities.
UCI was heavily involved with Grieve Gillett Andersen in the selection of products and finishes to combine the client’s needs and the designer’s vision. UCI also collaborated closely with Harrold and Kite to deliver a successful project within the client’s required time frame.
The product selected not only reflected the design aesthetic but met the client’s deadline from order to completion of product ready for the site.
The result is a transportable office unit, which has had a substantial overhaul, transforming it into a fresh and functional working environment.
